The Development Volunteer Program (Usaka) has organized a blanket distribution event in Badakara village, Bagerhat Sadar Upazila, where 500 low-income, impoverished individuals received blankets. This initiative aims to support vulnerable families during the harsh winter season.
The distribution was carried out with the active participation of local volunteers, ensuring that the blankets reached those in need. The program is designed to provide warmth and comfort to the underprivileged, alleviating their struggles during the cold months.
A Usaka representative said, “Providing warmth to poor families during winter is a key priority. This blanket distribution is a small step toward supporting them, and we plan to continue such efforts.”
One local beneficiary expressed gratitude, stating, “These blankets will greatly reduce our winter hardships. We are thankful to Usaka for this assistance.”
