The Development Volunteer Program (Usaka) has initiated a training support program for farmers to enhance their agricultural skills and improve their livelihoods. This effort aims to boost productivity and promote sustainable farming practices among the farming community.
The training includes modern farming techniques, organic fertilizer use, safe pesticide application, water conservation methods, and market strategies. Local volunteers are assisting in the successful implementation of this initiative.
A Usaka representative said, “Farmers are the backbone of our economy. This training program is designed to empower them with knowledge and skills for sustainable development.”
