About Us

Our Story & Background

The Unnayan Shechasheba Karjakaram (USEKA) was established in 2007 with a profound vision to transform the lives of marginalized communities in Bangladesh. Founded by a group of dedicated social workers and development professionals in Bagerhat, our organization emerged from the pressing need to address the multifaceted challenges facing rural and underserved populations.

What began as a small grassroots initiative with limited resources has evolved into one of the most respected development organizations in southwestern Bangladesh. Our journey started with a single village development program, focusing on basic education and sanitation. Through unwavering commitment and community trust, we expanded our reach and impact across multiple districts.

Today, USEKA stands as a beacon of hope and progress, implementing comprehensive programs that address education, healthcare, governance, environmental sustainability, and economic empowerment. Our approach is deeply rooted in community participation, ensuring that every program we implement is designed with and for the people we serve.
