Dhaka, Bangladesh: Mr. Nurul Islam Moni, MP, Chief Whip of the Jatiya Sangsad (Parliament of Bangladesh), has expressed his support for initiatives aimed at strengthening skills development and employment opportunities in Bangladesh.
During a meeting with the Bangladesh Private Sector Skills Development Foundation (BPSSD Foundation), Mr. Nurul Islam Moni appreciated the Foundation’s initiatives to promote skills development, technical and vocational education and training (TVET), industry-oriented training and employment-focused workforce development.
As a gesture of respect and appreciation, the Executive Committee of BPSSD Foundation presented the Chief Whip with a commemorative crest during the meeting.
The discussion focused on the importance of developing a skilled workforce capable of responding to the changing requirements of Bangladesh’s economy and labour market. The meeting also highlighted the need for stronger cooperation among government, skills development organisations, training institutions and industry.
Mr. Nurul Islam Moni expressed his positive views on the Foundation’s activities and conveyed his support for the development of Bangladesh’s skills ecosystem. His support is expected to encourage greater collaboration and contribute to creating more opportunities for young people through quality skills training and employment-oriented initiatives.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Md. Faridul Islam, President of BPSSD Foundation, along with Mst. Momtaz Begum, Vice President; Mr. Md. Maruf Hossain, Mr. Md. Nabin Hossain Piash, Executive Member and Md. Muslah Uddin Dipu, Senior Consultant.
