BPSSD Foundation Presents Crest of Honour to Honourable Land Minister

The Bangladesh Private Sector Skills Development Foundation (BPSSD Foundation) visited Mr. Md. Mizanur Rahman Minu, MP, Honourable Minister, Ministry of Land, Government of Bangladesh. During the meeting, the Foundation presented the Honourable Land Minister with a Crest of Honour as a mark of respect and appreciation.

The meeting was led by Dr. Md. Faridul Islam, President of BPSSD Foundation. During the discussion, the Foundation briefed the Honourable Minister on its activities, objectives, and vision for strengthening Bangladesh’s private-sector skills development ecosystem.

A significant development during the meeting was the inclusion of Mr. Md. Mizanur Rahman Minu, MP, Honourable Land Minister, as a member of the Advisory Council of BPSSD Foundation. His inclusion is expected to further strengthen the Foundation’s engagement with the land sector and support broader institutional collaboration.

The Foundation also expressed its interest in developing and promoting skills training related to land survey, land measurement, digital land services, land records, land management and other technical areas associated with the land sector. Such initiatives are intended to create skilled human resources and expand employment-oriented training opportunities in emerging areas of the land and property services sector.

The delegation also discussed BPSSD Foundation’s broader priorities, including TVET, competency-based curriculum development, skills assessment, institutional capacity building, industry engagement and employment-oriented workforce development.

Members of the Executive Committee present at the meeting included Mr. Md. Maruf Hossain, General Secretary; and Mr. Md. Nabin Hossain Piash, Executive Member.

The BPSSD Foundation expressed its appreciation to the Honourable Land Minister for joining its Advisory Council and welcomed the opportunity to work towards stronger collaboration in land-related skills development, capacity building and national workforce development.

The Foundation believes that closer cooperation among government, private-sector skills institutions, industry and other stakeholders can play an important role in developing a skilled workforce aligned with Bangladesh’s emerging economic and employment needs.
