NHRDF Managing Director & CEO Md. Touhidur Rahman Joins BPSSD Advisory Council

Dhaka, Bangladesh: The Bangladesh Private Sector Skills Development Foundation (BPSSD Foundation) has welcomed Mr. Md. Touhidur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO of the National Human Resource Development Foundation (NHRDF), as a member of its Advisory Council.

As a gesture of appreciation and recognition of his contribution to human resource and skills development, Mr. Touhidur Rahman was presented with a commemorative crest on behalf of the BPSSD Foundation.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss opportunities for collaboration in skills development, human resource development, technical and vocational training, foreign language training and international employment-oriented skills development.

The discussion also highlighted the growing importance of language and professional skills for Bangladeshi workers seeking opportunities in international labour markets, including German, Japanese, Korean and Chinese language training, alongside technical and vocational competencies.

The BPSSD Foundation is working to strengthen collaboration among skills training institutions, industry stakeholders, employers, government and development partners to promote demand-driven and employment-focused skills development.

The Foundation expressed its hope that the inclusion of Mr. Touhidur Rahman in the Advisory Council will further strengthen its efforts to develop skilled human resources and expand opportunities for Bangladeshi youth in both domestic and international markets.

The programme was attended by Dr. Md. Faridul Islam, President, BPSSD Foundation; Vice President; Mst. Momtaz Begum, Vice President; Mr. Md. Maruf Hossain, General Secretary; Md. Muslah Uddin Dipu, Senior Consultant, and other members of the Executive Committee and Advisory Council.
